The environmental protection of Ctek's W Series package opens up new applications for the legendary SkyRouter cellular router. Securely housed in a NEMA-4X/IP66 case the W Series is ready to deal with the rigors of the weather and corrosive environments.
From top to bottom the W Series is designed to be an outdoor industrial device. An internal antennas eliminate vandalism attacks against exposed features. Power is supplied from a remote source through a flying lead connection designed to be protected by conduit. Overall this is a SkyRouter that was meant to live safely and securely outside of buildings or electrical panels.
Another important benefit of the W Series packaging is that it allows you to position the cellular unit for optimal coverage. For store and office installations this means that you can avoid having to put an antenna on a rooftop or out of a window, a big plus for many commercial installations.
All W Series SkyRouters are built with a rugged metal internal mounting plate designed to hold the SkyRouter and associated options securely in place under the most demanding conditions. The W Series is available with a variety of weatherproof fittings designed to externalize the extensive I/O capabilities of the SkyRouter.
