Ctek's private label program is a key component of our business. Across the world we supply VARs and OEMs with products and assemblies that can be deeply embedded in their own product to provide the OEM's customer with a seamless view of the total solution being provided. Private labeling isn't simple, it's way more complicated than simply deleting a product sticker. Our private label program consists of two major initiatives, the first being things we do to help the product take on the OEM's look and feel, and the second being steps we take to assist the OEM in managing a private label supply chain.

To address the product persona we offer all of our products either unlabeled or with the OEM's label attached. We can assist customers in label design and have a number of labeling strategies in our portfolio. We will inventory your labels and insure that they are properly applied during the manufacturing cycle.

The "look and feel" of Ctek's products present to end users through Ctek's HTML user interface. One simple ASCII file provides easy to understand access to everything an end user sees, logo, colors, web links, and web page names. Documentation completes the customer facing portion of Ctek's private label program. All of our documentation is available copyright free in standard word processing formats to OEM's. We can provide a guide to documentation areas and keyword that will need to be changed in order to make the documentation assume the customers brand. Since the documentation is provided copyright free the OEM is free to cut and paste any portion of Ctek's documentation into their own format.

Once the OEM has finalized their private label modifications the next hurdle becomes how to insure that they will have a reliable and repeatable source of product with their desired customization. Ctek addresses this problem by assigning a unique customer SKU/Part Number/Order Code to a specific configuration. Product ordered with this SKU will have specific bill of materials and specific manufacturing instructions that can include labeling, custom firmware loads, and special hardware modifications. Customer specific SKUs can also be used to bundle accessories such as antennas, power supplies and I/O modules. This approach insures that the OEM can repeatedly order a desired configuration and incoming inspection can easily verify the product received.
