This network can be used to monitor cameras, review DVR footage, authenticate entry requests, and manage local infrastructure such as lights, gates, and sirens. By using Ctek's managed Wireless Ethernet the on-site network can be extended for miles using the unlicensed 900MHz band and devices such as cameras and card readers become an integral part of the cellular IP network. This network topology allows multiple endpoints to share a single cellular data plan and operate as a cohesive network. And, the entire network  can be  managed remotely through SkyRouter's browser based administrative feature set.

The SkyRouter, when configured with Ctek's Automation Control package and the required I/O modules becomes a complete security platform.  Unattended entrances can take advantage of a "buzz button", card reader, or finger print pad to alert a central security desk. Video and still images can be used to visually identify and record the person requesting entry. The Automation Controller responds to external inputs such as motion or ingress detectors with logic driven outputs that can perform functions as varied as activating cameras, closing gates, or turning on lights and sirens.
