 The 4200 SkyRouter combines CDMA EV-DO technology with the legendary SkyRouter platform to provided high-speed wireless communications that extend IP networks “over the horizon” in industrial applications.
A completely self-contained, industrial-strength, 4-port Ethernet router, the 4200E SkyRouter provides always available broadband network connectivity for applications such as public safety, data center backup, and disaster recovery where bandwidth is critical.
In addition to broadband performance, the SkyRouter also supports Assisted Global Positioning (A-GPS), a network positioning technology widely deployed for wireless E9-1-1. A-GPS employs the power of the wireless network to provide precise positioning even in environments such as urban canyons and parking garages where conventional GPS would be unreliable.
A key component of every SkyRouter’s value proposition is Ctek’s unique TCOPlus, developed to reduce on-going operational costs associated with industrial wireless networks. TCO Plus incorporates an array of high value features such as remote web-based administration, online firmware updating, online network logging and monitoring, and SMS control and management commands.
