However, advances in cellular data over the past few years have raised the bar on performance, and more importantly on the expectations of network designers. Wireless networking is no longer an outlier, it has simply become another tools in the network designer's arsenal.
From the beginning Ctek has focused on making the SkyRouter as IT friendly as possible. Our management solutions are based on standards that are widely deployed in commercial networks. We are convinced that the differences between managing wireless network element and any other network element should be minimal, largely restricted to those things unique to the wireless bearer channel. Now, with the introduction of our managed wireless Ethernet capability we have extended our network management capabilities out even further, all the way to the 900MHz endpoint. Advanced Firewall and Routing
Equipped with standard and advanced port forwarding capabilities.  Every SkyRouter is capable of managing an entire Class C Ethernet segment.

TCOPlus
An ever growing portfolio of local and remote networking management capabilities. Includes detailed monitoring of the wireless carrier's network, LAN troubleshooting, over-the-air firmware updates, and other important tools to facilitate the management a large scale M2M network.

Generic Routing Encapsulation (GRE)
Every Ctek SkyRouter comes standard with GRE tunneling. This versatile tunneling protocol can be used to establish point-to-point contacts with servers or for broadcast applications.

Internet Protocol Security (IPsec)
Ctek offers IPsec on every SkyRouter. IPsec is a protocol that offers mutual authentication through an exchange of cryptographic  keys. When used properly this is the gold standard for encrypting IP communications.

Simple Network Management Protocol (SNMP)
Simple Network Management Protocol is available on Ctek's Linux based SkyRouter and NetServer platforms. We will be happy to integrate the MIB that is most appropriate to achieve your network management goals.

Wireless Internet Management
With the introduction of 900MHz Wireless Internet Ctek recognized that a successful roll out would require integration with our standard network management regime.  Through a SkyRouter controller Wireless Internet endpoints can be maintained from any desktop, anywhere.
